Sweet Heat Maple Bacon Chicken Bombs with Sriracha Glaze
ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 8 slices of bacon
- 1/4 cup Sriracha sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
method
Preheat your oven to 375°F. In a small bowl, mix together the maple syrup, brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Cut each chicken breast into 2-inch pieces. Place the chicken pieces in a large resealable plastic bag and pour the maple syrup mixture over them. Seal the bag and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Take a slice of bacon and wrap it around a piece of marinated chicken. Place the bacon-wrapped chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Repeat with the remaining chicken pieces. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the chicken is cooked through.
While the chicken is baking, mix together the Sriracha sauce and a little bit of maple syrup in a small bowl. Once the chicken is done, brush the Sriracha glaze over the chicken bombs. Serve hot and enjoy the sweet heat of these delicious maple bacon chicken bombs with Sriracha glaze!
